By using the GrinFit mobile application and related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your region) to use the Service.
- If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. Accounts and Security
- Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized use (support@grin.fitness).
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the Service (no abuse, scraping, reverse engineering, or harming others).
- Do not attempt to bypass security or rate limits.
- Use the Service only as permitted by law and these Terms.
4. Research and Transparency
- GrinFit operates as a student research initiative. App activity (e.g., workouts, plan adherence, feature usage) may be analyzed in aggregate or de-identified form to improve the Service and support academic research.

- You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request account deletion (in-app where available or via support@grin.fitness).
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or if required by law.

- The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrinFit and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or revenues.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or $0 if no fees were paid).

- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrinFit and its contributors from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
